How to install a wireless CarPlay screen in 5 minutes

Just received your wireless CarPlay screen and wondering where to start? Good news: installation only takes a few minutes, requires no tools, and no technical knowledge. Here's the complete step-by-step guide.

What You Need

Before you begin, make sure you have the following on hand:

• The CarPlay screen (with its suction cup mount and cigarette lighter or USB-C cable included in the box)
• Your smartphone (iPhone or Android)
• A car with a USB port or cigarette lighter socket

That's it. No tools, no mechanic required.

Step 1 — Choose the screen's location

You have two options: attach the screen to the windshield using the suction cup, or place it on the dashboard with the included adhesive mount. The windshield is generally recommended for better visibility without taking your eyes off the road. Place the screen within your field of vision, without obstructing your view of the road

Step 2 — Attach the mount

Clean the mounting area with a dry cloth. Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield and lock it by lowering the lever. The screen should hold securely, even on bumpy roads.

Step 3 — Plug in the power

Connect the cigarette lighter cable to your car's socket (or the USB-C cable to the vehicle's USB port). The screen will light up automatically as soon as you turn on the ignition. If it doesn't, check that the cigarette lighter socket is powered.

Step 4 — Pair your smartphone (first use only)

On the screen, tap the CarPlay or Android Auto icon. The screen will enter Bluetooth search mode.

For iPhone: Go to Settings → General → CarPlay → Choose your screen from the list.

For Android: Open the Android Auto app → tap "Connect" → select the screen from the Bluetooth list.

The connection takes approximately 30 seconds. Once paired, the smartphone will automatically reconnect each time you start the car.

Step 5 — Enjoy!

Navigation, music, hands-free calls, voice messages… everything appears on your screen. You can control everything by voice with Siri or Google Assistant, without touching your phone.
